The Niezgoda Weir, also known as Göring Dam, is the only surviving wooden structure of its type on the Barycz River.

Its fixed damming height is 2.16 m and the movable height is 1.19 m. The water damming zone starts 1.5 km before the weir itself. Before the war, the Niezgoda Weir was called the Great Sluice. By the locals, the weir is also called Göring Dam. The name originates from the fact that during the Third Reich, Marshal Herman Göring used to go hunting in the Żmigród estate. Not far from the dam, there is also a cobbled road known as Göring's Road, where the Marshal fatally shot a hunter during a hunt. On the south side of the Barycz River are transects connecting trenches from the Second World War. They were dug by Jews, prisoners of a branch of the Gross Rosen camp. These trenches were part of the earth fortifications of the so-called Barthold Line. These fortifications were never used in combat. The prisoners who dug them were murdered by the Nazis in a place unknown to this day in the nearby forests. In the vicinity of the weir there are perfectly visible traces of beaver activity. The water dammed up by the weir flows through a canal (Młynówka Jamnicka) into the Jamnik Pond and through the Niezgodzki Canal into the Rudy Pond. In summer, often below the weir, the water level is very low and makes further swimming impossible. The Paszkowy Ditch, flowing to the right of the weir, is also navigable, even though no canoe trail is marked on it. However, this is a route for ambitious and rather experienced canoeists. The water level is usually low and there are low bridges, levees and obstacles such as fallen trees along the route. In addition, the ditch is narrow and overgrown with reeds in parts, and the surrounding marshland makes it impossible to get out. However, the wildlife that surrounds it guarantees a unique experience. Through the ditch we can reach the Młynówka Sułowsko-Radziądzka and consequently the Niezgoda or Ruda Sułowska (upstream).

In addition to canoeing, we can also get here by bike along the R9 trail or on foot along this trail as well. We park our vehicle at the roadside pond on the Milicz - Sułów - Żmigród road between the villages of Łąki and Niezgoda.
