The Social Cooperative "Szklany Świat" Bombki from Krośnice near Milicz (Barycz Valley) was established in 2009 in place of the bankrupt Milicz Work Cooperative, which had existed in Milicz since 1947. The cooperative was founded by 7 of its former employees, who wanted to preserve their unique handicraft, the achievements of many years and the specific skills of the blowers or decorators.

Our cooperative employs qualified people with many years of experience, so we guarantee high quality and unique, original designs. We produce glass baubles and other Christmas tree decorations all year round. Year after year, we gain more and more customers who appreciate the original designs and the fact that the ornaments are made using a traditional hand-made method. In order to meet our customers' expectations, our bauble factory manufactures custom-made glass Christmas tree baubles and other ornaments according to their own design. This includes - and is very popular - baubles with company logos. Our balls come in many different designs and shapes - particularly noteworthy are those in the shape of birds or fish, characteristic of the Barycz Valley environment. Bombki are a great gift or souvenir from the region.

As this is an increasingly rare profession in Poland and around the world, our activities are also based on education, presentations and the organisation of tours of our plant. Visitors can see how such a glass ball is made. For pre-school, school or tourist groups, we offer workshops on decorating balls that everyone can take home with them.
